Strong, active feet are the foundation for a strong, active body
Human beings are designed to move. We are motion machines, designed to feel good while on the go. BUT, we’ve stopped moving and we are “sitting ourselves to death”. You may have heard that sitting is the new smoking. Today, Americans spend an average of 13 hours a day sitting. Dr. James Levine, the director of the Mayo Clinic – Arizona State University, argues that sitting for as little as 2 continuous hours increases the rate of heart disease, diabetes, metabolic syndrome, cancer, back and neck pain and other orthopedic problems.
Let’s face it, walking on grass and sand is no longer the daily norm. Your feet adapt to the earth and provide feedback to your brain about where you are going and how you need to get there. Our feet are our foundation and the connection between our bodies and the ground. Unfortunately, we spend our days walking on hard man-made surfaces and wearing shoes 90% of our days, weakening our feet over time.
Your feet are your foundation for MOVEMENT. They are active and complex networks of bones, joints, tissues, muscles and nerve endings that all work together to help coordinate motion in the rest of your body. Imbalances in your feet can be felt all the way up your body into your neck and shoulders. Your feet have many purposes. The foot acts as a shock absorber, a balance mechanism, a propulsion system and a sensory organ. They MOVE YOU. The health and strength of your feet determine how easy it is for you to stand, walk, run, jump, skip and dance your way through life.
Do you have pain in your feet, knees or back with long periods of time standing or walking? Pain in your knees walking up or down stairs? Pain in your knees walking or running?
Whether it is pain in your arch or heel like plantar fasciitis, pain in your big toe like bunions or arthritis; or pain in your ankle like Achilles tendonitis; it is time to be walking pain-free.
Whether you have pain in your back, tendonitis/arthritis/meniscus pain in your knee; it is time to be living pain-free.
Custom-made orthotics are designed to help you ‘get moving’ more comfortably and more efficiently. They are engineered to support the architectural structure of your feet and are customized to flex while you walk, making long days living on man-made surfaces more comfortable.

Many people may not be aware of the correlation between a healthy spine and better overall health, as chiropractic has been synonymous with back pain and neck pain for decades. However, many of our patients are pleasantly surprised to experience relief from seemingly unrelated health issues once they are going through our corrective care program. Why? Simply put, by eliminating spinal misalignments and reshaping the spine back to its normal curvature, nerve flow energy is once again allowed to flow optimally to the entire body, including vital organs. This, in turn, allows the digestive system, the cardiovascular system, the respiratory system, the immune system, and other systems to turn back the hands of time, and work optimally the way they were intended.
“Chiropractic changed my life for good. It’s a shame not too many people know how incredible chiropractic can be.”
Having been involved in a pretty bad car accident, and being told pain would be something I’d have to deal with just didn’t sit well with me. So I did my research and found Dr Justin Scott of STRONGLIFE Chiropractic. After a thorough exam, he pinpointed what needed to be done, and within several sessions, I was back to jogging again — something I was convinced I could no longer do. Three months later, I am completely back, and even better than I have ever felt.
